Surfite is a material created from leftover resin used in surfboard production.

Instead of throwing the excess resin away, it's poured into moulds as the surfboards are painted and then allowed to harden.

Over time these layers build up, creating colourful, stratified blocks.

Once solidified, the blocks are cut, shaped and polished into amazingly colourful 'stones' that capture the spirit of the ocean and surf culture.

Each piece of Surfite is one-of-a-kind, showcasing the stunning patterns that emerge from the creative process.

This piece is originally from Oregon in the US.
