This solid sterling silver ring depicts the natural decay process in a flower.
 
It started life as a pristine flower but I wanted to see if it would be possible to retain the flower shape yet make it appear to be fading fast. I was delighted with the effect, achieved entirely through careful and strategic heating with a blowtorch.
 
It's a total one-off as I wouldn't be able to recreate identical conditions or patterns again.
 
Made from 100% recycled sterling silver, melted, rolled out, shaped and put together by me, this ring has a wide shank, is a UK size P+ (P and a half), hallmarked with full London Assay Office hallmarks and is ready to ship now.
